Teaching kids to follow their own drummer and not worry what the rest of the band is playing is not an easy task. Not interfering with the rest of the band (mob mentality is a scary thing) and yet tactfully staying true to your own tune is a life skill well-learned, tho. One of the top ten in my private drummer book. ;)
