No Idea Where He Gets It.

I've been camping once. Unless the Punkette suddenly does a complete 180, I will probably never go again. The hubster's not a big fan of it either, but he's gone more often than I have.

The Punk (weirdo!) has finally gotten his wish and is in the backyard "camping out". He came in once for a drink of water again to change his shirt. The flashlight is off and we haven't seen him for almost 45 minutes. The little bugger is probably going to stay out there all night!

Which means I'll probably be on the couch. It's not like I'll be able to sleep upstairs listening for him.

Addendum.......................................................................................
The boy made it all night out in the tent. He told me he may
never sleep in his room again.

  1. LOL!
If I had a tent in the backyard when I was a kid I would have been out there every night all summer! I even built a "fort" in the garage rafters and slept up there! Now that would really have really made you nervous--LOL! I could have fallen over the edge onto the cement floor, I suppose. Never occurred to me, of course. Never occurred to my parents, I guess, either. But then, they were not too concerned about our welfare in general. ;)

I hope he has a glorious time...night after night while he can! :)

  3. Rita ... LOL! Sometimes I think my imagination helps me as a mom and sometimes it's a real problem. I'm really good at envisioning what *might* happen and I often just close my eyes and pray. ;-)

Joseph ... He certainly is — and he loved it!

  7. Barbra ... I removed it temporarily. I finally figured out who the manufacturer is and I'm waiting to hear what they have to say.

  8. My boys love camping and sleeping in the tent. I'm afraid I might begetting a little too old to sleep on the ground anymore but no one seems to concerned at the moment. I don't know if I could have slept out in a tent by myself as a kid though. Good for him!
