Practice.

Would you believe I saw five wild turkeys (or maybe six ... it's hard to count at 35 mph)?

Would you believe I've seen them four times now?

Every time I haven't had my camera with me since the first time I saw them I've seen them again.

So now I'm taking my camera with me all the time, and yes, I'm practicing taking pictures at 35 mph.

At the very least I'm reminded why I love autumn.

Ah, the colors!

  1. Now you need to point your camera towards other cars and take a few Drive By Shootings, lol. As I'm sure you've discovered, shooting at 35 MPH - or more - is harder than it looks.

  2. My son and daughter-in-law live next to a wooded river (more like a creek where they are) and there are wild turkeys living in the woods there! I was so surprised. They've been having babies and there are more of them every year!

Beautiful autumn shots! It is hard to blindly shoot pictures one-handed while you are driving, I know--hehe! ;)
