Color Me Amazed.

I'm taking a online art course right now — yeah, I know, like I needed something to fill my time with. Ha!

Anyway, one of the aspects of the course is creating mixed media backgrounds in your journal and that appealed to me. It also didn't hurt that the course is free, especially since this is my first foray into online art classes and I'm not sure what to expect.

The bonus is that it will explore ways to silence my inner critic. If I come away with any useful insights in that regard, I'll be VERY happy. The duct tape technique isn't working particularly well.

I'm amazed today because I'm halfway through the first video and I've created a made-up self-portrait. Do you know how long it's been since I've drawn from my imagination? Me either, so that's why I'm bubbling with excitement this morning. (Do I sound bubbly? I feel bubbly!)
