I Can't Believe I'm Posting This.

I was tagged by the Veteran Kindergarten Teacher and I didn't plan on participating until curiosity got the better of me. See, the rules told me to go to my 1st photo folder, scroll to the 10 photo and post it with the story behind it. When I got done laughing after seeing the photo, I decided what the heck.

The young man sitting on his then favorite seat is our dog Rocky. He was about four-months-old. His seat is actually the boy Punk, though I don't believe you can see him — he's inside an eight-month pregnant me.

You would think I'd have kicked him off, but actually his sitting there made me more comfortable. I'm not sure if it was Ryan's head or his backside, but whatever it was, he liked to park it under the right side of my chest. It hurt. No, I mean it REALLY hurt. If I put an ice pack on it, sometimes it would encourage the boy to move and occasionally, a nice strong thump would do the trick. Most of the time, though, I was ignored and I was in pain.

When Rocky sat there, it felt better. The kid didn't move, but it was like Rocky's weight countered Ryan's lumpy body part and I could breathe without pain.

After Ryan was born, Rocky became the pillow.
