November 22: I'm Grateful for My Brown-Eyed Girl

She is almost always in a good mood – although now that she's a tweenager, that can change in the blink of an eye. The good news is she changes back to her happy self just as quickly.

I had a crummy day, but I knew she was looking forward to one of our dinner and shopping nights while the boys were at the Cavs game. I was planning on pretending to have fun, but after 10 minutes in her company I no longer had to fake it. The girl just makes me laugh. It's like going shopping with a girlfriend instead of my 10yo daughter. How can I not give thanks for that?!!?
