I think I may have found a new favorite paper. This kraft paper has a nice warm tone and it's similar in weight and texture to a paper grocery bag.
If you're interested, it's the Bogus Recycled Rough Sketch pad by Bee Paper. It's 100% recycled and at 70 lb. it's sturdy enough to handle pencil, charcoal, ink, marker and maybe even a light wash of watercolor.
Nice! It sounds like it might have a bit of tooth to it for the colored pencils, too. Turned out very well. :)
ReplyDeleteIt looks gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteVery nice - I like the white of the inside of the onion against the red of the onion skin!
ReplyDeleteThanks Ladies!
ReplyDeleteI love this, and I love that paper - I have some in my collection, and have never been disappointed with it. I haven't tried watercolor with it, but it handles gouache really well, as long as I don't overdo the water...
ReplyDeleteSince the drawing of your onion inspired me, I've blogged about you here: http://unraveledattheseams.blogspot.com/2011/03/cuties.html
ReplyDeleteHope you don't mind. :)
