Thought I'd give you a little update on our crafting progress so far. The Punks weren't particularly interested in the trees, but they got really excited about melting up some crayons.

Punk figured out the sides make interesting marks very quickly and Punkette followed his example.
I think they had fun, but they're raring to go play in the snow. I have to shovel, so they're getting bundled up so they can come out and help. I think we'll save the little clay creatures — if the weather keeps up, there will probably be a snow day tomorrow, too.
That really does look like fun! And a perfect way to use old crayons if you have any about. We used to save the bits and pieces in an old cigar box of my grandfather's when we were kids.
