Want To See My Etchings?

Okay, so I've never actually created any etchings, but I have been rooting around in my artistic past and I feel the urge to share. Mainly because I don't have anything new right now ... I got too busy sanding and painting and swimming and mulching. It's been a weird weekend.

This is my first self-portrait ever and I was as excited to tackle it as I look. My high school art teacher told me to calm down and just draw what I saw in the mirror. Then he showed it to my mom, who worked in the building, and they had a good laugh. Sigh.

I did this self-portrait in college, in my dorm's bathroom, to be precise ... at least I look a little more relaxed. I also think I was in a hurry, judging by my "creative" lack of details.
