Too Red Too Fast!

I tried to take a shortcut. After running a few errands, I had 40 minutes before the bus would drop off the Punkette. I knew the afternoon was packed, so I slapped on a quick thick coat of red thinking I'd be able to skip a few steps and save time.

Well, I did get done sooner, but it looks awful flat to me. I tried to get the subtle curves to the petals and ended up with the streaky mess in the bottom right corner.

You win some, you lose some.

    After all your work Karen, what a shame - although I can see what you mean but on screen the colour looks intense and rich.

    I know you're not happy with it, but I can see some contouring. Maybe if there was a way you could do some more with a paler blue or something? It is still better than I could ever do. ;)

    Thanks ladies. I might do it over again. I actually enjoy doing the lines ... kind of relaxing.
