My favorite Christmas song is I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas and it also happens to be one of the Minions least favorite songs. The bottom (or top, depending on how you look at it) of the list is taken by I'm Getting Nothing For Christmas. Their father sings this incessantly around the holidays and that seems to be helping it keeps its spot.
Anyway, the Minions asked me what I wanted for Christmas several years ago, and of course, I replied a Hippopotamus. That year my dear husband looked high and low and finally his Aunt found a Little Tykes Hippo Flashlight.
Since then, I see them everywhere and occasionally find I can't resist buying one either because it's cute or because I love to give my dear husband a hard time. These are two recent acquisitions and the bottom one, whom I named Harry, now belongs to the dog. I didn't intend to give it to Rocky, even if it is a dog toy, but its head was peeking out of the bag and the darn dog saw him.
I think I need to record all the others now, too.
