New Year, New Book, New Cover ...

It's been a lazy day today. The family slept in, so the dog and I enjoyed a quiet morning to ourselves. Drawing, reading and a cup of tea for me; breakfast, belly rubs and uninterrupted loving for him.

About the time everyone else got moving, we decided a nap in the sunbeam sounded like a wonderful idea. It was.

The rest of the day has been filled with Mythbusters, trying out a pottery wheel, an easy baked ham dinner and now football. The last of which translates to more time to read for me and probably an early bedtime.

Not a bad way to start the new year.
