Are you sensing the sarcasm?
I am really not suited to sewing ribbon shoulder straps on itty-bitty doll dresses. My fingers are apparently HUGE, even though I never realized that before. The things we do for our kids!
Ergh.
And the elastic on the one dress was surprisingly hard to get a needle through, so I kept stabbing myself. Three dolls, six shoulder straps and one sore finger later, I'm done.
The good news is I didn't bleed on the dress and the dolls should now cease having embarrassing wardrobe malfunctions.
And the girl is happy with me. That's good.
I think it's the time I would have taught someone to thread a needle.

Just wait! She bridges to cadets this year in Girl Scouts. I'm thinking it's time for her to earn her sewing badge.
