Retour à Papillons (Back to Butterflies)

I've been working on a packaging job for a design client for a few months now. Part of it involves updating the English descriptions for the products, along with the French and Spanish translations – Google Translate has become my new BFF. I took German in school because that's a larger part of my ancestry and what I remember – Was ist los? (What is wrong?) and Ich spreche nur ein bisschen Deutsch (I speak only a little German) – isn't going to help much.

Anyway, the gist of that is I kind of have French on the brain. And it's jewelry packaging, so I've run across a few papillons in the midst of chains, clasps and jump rings.
This is another painting that had me a little freaked while I was working on it – thought I went overboard on the drips. And for some people maybe I did, but I'm digging it.
