I've tried Yupo Watercolor Paper in the past and lets just say it didn't work for me at the time. I thought maybe it would be ideal for my current experiments in a more spontaneous style.
It's actually synthetic, machine-made from polypropylene and waterproof, meaning the paint sits on top of the surface rather than being absorbed. As a result, you can get some really unique effects. And if you hate it? Wipe it off with water and start over again!
Only problem is it might be too giant of a leap forward into a looser style for me. That's not to say I can't see butterflies and flowers in there, but I also see a skull and a guy screaming.
Squeak!!
Two skulls!!!
Waaaaahhh!
