Give It A Go Again?

First of all, before anyone says anything, yes, I left out the letter X. Aside from scientific names for animals, plants, diseases and a machine that can see your innards, X really doesn't have a lot going for it. So I took artistic and literary license and left that puppy out.

I am such a rebel. Oh yeah!

Right now I'm happy with the phrasing, which I did change slightly from what I originally had in my sketchbook. I'm also happy that I controlled myself and let the watercolor do what it wanted.

Mostly.

I really hate the red in the very middle. I had it too wet and too full of pigment, so it kind of beat the purple back instead of blending nicely. QUASH is also bugging me – not the word so much as how bold it is compared to the rest of the type. And I like the wavy lines, but I wish they weren't so squished together. AND I want to adjust some of the spacing between words.

I think it's a good first try, but I'm going to have to give it another go.
