Kudos to the Beth K. Stocker Art Gallery, Joan Perch and Karen Sandstrom for the wonderful Artists' Reception at Lorain County Community College last night. I had the best time I've ever had at an art exhibit. Karen Sandstrom seemed to be everywhere at once, introducing artists to gallery patrons, other artists and generally making everyone feel welcome. GREAT JOB! I truly appreciated it since I'm usually the one standing by the wall pretending to be a statue.
I had so much fun talking to the other artists, learning how they utilize their sketchbooks and what materials they use. There was talk of staying in touch and going for a sketchcrawl together which I am totally up for. What a talented bunch of people – it was truly an honor to participate!
