A Duh Moment.

I put this combo together and showed it to the hubster who said, "You should take a picture of the three of us in front of the new sunflower."

Well, duh.

Too bad we didn't think of it before the punks went to bed for the night. The good news is the sunflower will still be there tomorrow and more of the flowers will probably have bloomed.

I haven't been drawing much this week.

Okay, I haven't been drawing at all. I've been too busy taking photograph after photograph of this sunflower stalk. I thought it looked gorgeous with the blurred tree behind it.

Then the sun came out after a brief rainstorm.

And when I thought it was as beautiful as possible, it got better.
