The Space In Between.

Sorry about the long time between posts, but I'm in one of those funks again where I don't much feel like drawing. I look around the house and feel like I've drawn everything, which isn't really possible. Besides, the way I drew something six months ago will be different from how I draw it now.

I've also been spending a lot of time looking at the work of other artists in the Life Book 2013 class and  falling into the time-sucking world of Pinterest. The result is I find myself comparing what I do to what others do and then I end up not wanting to draw. You'd think I would have outgrown my artistic insecurities by now, but no, I'm as neurotic as ever.

  2. I tried to join Pinterest... but I refuse to give my Facebook account to any other applications, Facebook is bad enough. Anyway, I think your art work is stunning, your calligraphy sets off your pages perfectly... and your line work on shadows and the detail you achieve is fabulous... your since of color so expert... well I find it hard to believe you are insecure at all... you are an accomplished artist. I find your work inspiring.
