Quirky Birds (in progress).

I can be taught! I must not be that old of a dog. The LB2013 class has taught me the wonders of white gesso and clear gesso. I never knew you could use watercolor on top of gesso! In this piece, I created the layered background first, than added clear gesso over the top. That meant I could see the background AND paint on top of it without activating and smearing it. YAY.

Now I just need to move on to embellishing the birds, but I like them so much now I'm afraid I'll screw them up. ERGH!
