I participated in another Craft Fair yesterday and I've come to the conclusion they aren't worth it for me. Yesterday I got a lot of compliments on my work, but they didn't translate into sales. I did a little better than the entry fee, but nowhere near enough to cover expenses and time preparing, let alone sitting at the booth all day.
On the positive side, I had plenty of time to finally tackle my rainbow sneakers. I've had them about a year now and every time I think of drawing them, I quickly think of something else. Like most things, they really weren't as hard as I anticipated once I got started. It did, however, take some time and my foot ended up falling asleep.
