Crafts And Gifts Take Precedence.

I was out the other day looking for ornaments and saw this cute little ceramic sign. Unfortunately, I didn't think it was $24.99 cute. So I did what I always do in these situations.
For about $3.00 and a little bit of time, I made my own. I bought the paper-mache letters at the craft store, applied a couple coats of paint and added the polkadots with a paint pen. I got a little happy with the spray glitter, but it's still cute and I think I found the perfect spot for it next to my all-time favorite shot of the Punks.

I've got a couple of gifts going that I'd show you, but ... well ... they're gifts. I'm hoping to get to my sketchbook today, but we have a couple of trees to decorate and according to the Punks, snow to play in. It doesn't look like enough to me, but they get creative.

A little bit of snow went a long way as I recall when I was a kid. ;)
