It's Harry. Really.

Someday I'll share Harry Potter with my Punks. We've tried to read it a couple of times and haven't gotten past Dudley ending up in the snake exhibit. I think that's like page 20 of the first book.

Sigh.

I don't think Punks who can't make it through a Disney princess movie — some of those villains are scary — are quite ready for Harry Potter.

The good news is I have a friend who is a huge Harry Potter fan and she was more than willing to go to the movie with me today.

And now I have to wait until July for the second half.

Double sigh.

  1. I'm glad my munchkins aren't the only ones too scared to watch Ice Age or Toy Story, let alone classic Disney... We tried movie night at home and ended up eating popcorn in front of Mickey Mouse clubhouse after 5 minutes of the movie and lots of tears! I love your art work and check in every now and then. My only art work nowadays involves a preschooler (4) and prep. student (5).

  3. I am so looking forward to seeing the movie. My daughter and I have a tradition on Thanksgiving day...we go to Cracker Barrel for dinner and then we go for a movie. My son is off hunting with his dad and so we're on our own - - We can hardly wait!
