Ugh.
It's been deja vu all over again around here. The only difference is it's my son confusing me instead of my dad.
Oh, and it isn't MY homework!
I was slightly mollified when it all confused T, too. He's an engineer and he likes math. At least, he likes it more than me.
If the boy is learning algebra in first grade, what's he going to bring home when he's in high school? I'm going to need a tutor.
Seriously, I'm going to need someone to help me help my kid!

ReplyDeleteInteresting to see that kids in the US are being taught similarly unfamiliar methods to kids here in the UK - I used to teach it myself. The new ways have their benefits, but didn't come naturally to me either.
