I spent the day dodging raindrops and puddles, so when we ran into Walmart for a couple of quick things after school, I splurged.
No, it's not your birthday.
Nope, not a holiday.
Not really a special occasion at all.
Mom's just tired of grey and she'd like to see a little color.
And if the Punk tells me one more time he'd rather have a Hot Wheel, I'm going to confiscate his box of 48 for myself.
Sigh.
Ooooh! New crayons are the best! Confiscate--hehe! ;)
ReplyDeleteEven your photo of the crayons makes me a little happier on this grey day! Thanks for sharing! (And if I were you, I'd come up with a reason to adopt his crayons anyway :D)
ReplyDeleteKaren,, I LoVE my pendants and will be giving the pansy as a gift to a woman who loves to give and loves pansies. ;)
ReplyDeleteI also love the magnet, is that white flower against the hot pink background a gardenia? your flower paintings have inspired me the most and i have always loved that white flower coming in from the side against a stunning blue background. ;) NOw I can wear it!
Love the smell of new crayons - I used to manage at least half a term's worth of art lessons with a box or two of crayons.
ReplyDeleteHow can anyone resist the enticing aroma of crayons? Hmmm - I guess a "punk" might, same thing with my guy when he was young!
